At a glance

  • The Loop Personal browser service stores and processes your product data on Cogmenta-controlled infrastructure.
  • You separately choose and authorize each connected account.
  • This early hosted test has no independent off-host backup. A server or storage failure could permanently lose hosted data.

Your choice

Creating a Loop Identity account does not start a hosted home. When you choose to start one in the browser, Loop Personal will store and process your product data on Cogmenta-controlled infrastructure so the browser service can work. The installed app keeps connected data on your device by default; its hosted options are separate choices.

Data in your hosted home

Hosted data can include information you enter, activity and content retrieved from services you later connect, connection authorizations, preferences, and generated summaries, indexes, and memories. Loop Identity separately handles your sign-in credentials and sessions. Starting a hosted home does not grant access to Slack, GitHub, Notion, Google, or another provider; each connection requires its own authorization.

Hosted AI

When you use an AI feature, relevant content may be processed by Cogmenta's hosted model service to produce the requested result. We do not currently use connected account data to train or fine-tune model weights, and we do not send it to external AI model APIs for processing. The Privacy Policy describes current personalization and limits on future use.

Current recovery limit

This initial hosted deployment does not yet have an independent off-host backup. If its server or storage fails, your hosted product data may be permanently lost. Do not rely on this early test as your only copy of important information. The Privacy Policy explains deletion of active and backup copies when those copies exist.

Your controls

You can choose which accounts to connect and revoke a provider's authorization. Revoking a connection stops future access under that authorization; it does not by itself erase data already retrieved. You can stop hosted processing and request deletion by contacting support@cogmenta.biz. Because the browser service depends on hosted processing, stopping it means those features will no longer be available.

This notice accompanies the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It explains the hosted choice shown when you reserve a Loop Personal home.
